Cat got me up as usual at 4.30, for food and to go out.

Normally I go back to sleep after, but the mind is racing as I have beeen notified of likely redundancy.

Why can't the cat have some sympathy, and let me sleep?

alba - Frankie has been stomping all over me for an hour of so. But when he started using claws and teeth I gave in.

Hopkirk - sorry to hear about the redundancy. I still can't get over Woolworths going bust - it was a part of my childhood. I hope that things get better and the cat tunes in to your mood and becomes more empathic.

Alba, I had an email from Nora this morning. All is well, she has been very busy, but has a couple of days off over the weekend. I tried to phone her yesterday but she wasn't in and her mobile was switched off. But she is OK.
