What do you reckon?
They are talking about taxing 'unhealthy' food to subsidise 'fresh' food.

Fats are the substances that make food tasty and without them, eating would be pretty boring.
I would not be in favour of taxing them.
Now......there is a body of opinion, even amongst some doctors ( not me) which would argue that carbohydrates are the killers, NOT fats and as such the Government would be taxing the wrong items.

Not uncommon to see the local mums leaving farm foods or the local independant freezer shop with trollies full of sweet cereals, bags of chicken nuggets, pizzas, catering size packs of chips , fish fingers white sliced bread and slabs of cheese... nearest thing to veg is tins of beans and alphabetti spaghetti .... and bottles of cheap pop... Now of course they might dump that lot at home and pop out for some nice fresh veg but somehow I doubt it..
