I started by roasting two breasts for tonights supper. When they came out the oven I had to have a pick at them, consequently I have had to cook a further two pieces of chicken.

I adore roast chicken and have only met one person (veggies not included) that doesn't like chicken.

Do any of you guys not like chicken?

I love it love it love it love it.

Stopped at the roasted chicken part of the shop other day just to admisre the things and smell the atmosphere. Mr Alba kept dunting me with the trolley. He has no appreciation at all.

Have I mentioned I quite like it? And the skin, slurp!!!
I'm not too keen on it. If I do have it I go for the leg.

That is a top tip Alba but I'd then have to either buy a ready roasted chook and devour it in the carpark or go home and roast a bird.

There are no words to describe how much I love roast chicken. And I am delighted that I have been able to tick off a possible threat in the form of Umm's ambivalence towards the mighty deliciousness that is roast chicken!!!
I love roast chicken. But it has to be home cooked. The supermarket stuff has sugar added....why???
I like it, as long as it is nice and juicy

TBH Pasta I think the last time I ate a supermarket roast chicken was 15yrs ago during a house move. I had no idea they added sugar, I can only assume it is too add a touch of caramel to the skin...not sure it's necessary though.
i love roast chicken.

i'll allways choose it if it is on a menu.

sometimes, when shopping - i'll pick one up at the hot-food counter..
then eat all of it when i get home.

i love chicken and eat lots of it. I cant stand the smell of the roasted ones in the supermarket though, they totally stink. Not keen on the skin either
love a roast chicken a medium size does 2 days, full roast dinner one day then cold with salad or curried to use it up.
You're right Eccles-it's to add colour. I thought the roasting was supposed to do that...

I love the skin so crispy,it snaps...mmmm
I particularly like cold chicken sandwiches with the wing on the side of the plate for me to pick up and eat.
Personally I love chicken any way it's done but, like a lot of people, it seems, I'm not keen on supermarket chickens. A friend of mine when he left school worked for two years on a chicken farm. He's not eaten chicken since and that was more then forty years ago.
BBQ chicken thighs from Sainsbury....bought some today and had to hide them in two bags so I couldn't smell them..mmmmmm
Roast chicken is possibly my favourite Sunday roast. I always buy a chicken a bit bigger than we need so we have lots of lovely leftovers for the day after. Another tip from me - I find that if you buy a (raw) chicken from the butchers rather than the supermarket a) its tastes far nicer and b) there is a lot more meat on them for the same money! As for the leftovers - a few favourites of ours are: club sandwiches, chicken and mushroom pie, chicken and brocolli pasta bake, chicken goujons, chicken salad, chicken curry, chicken casserole - and when you have done all that you can still boil the chicken frame up to make a lovely stock for the gravy for your next chicken!
Not my favorite but will eat it.
