time to eat

Prob not in the right category but here goes.
A few days ago I was reading a piece in the paper about what time people eat their main meal of the day. Apparently the 'civilised' folk eat as late as poss - even after 10 p.m..
Personally that wouldn't do for me at all - my stomack would think my throat had been cut.
Depends on if at work or not and what else may be on that evening, but usually between 6 and 7.
Just interested what time do other ABers eat.

At weekends when my husband is home we have lunch about 13h30 (on a Saturday it is highly likely we will go to a restaurant in town after shopping and market), then in the evening have a lightish meal : bread and cheese or soup.

When our children were young we always had set mealtimes, but now we eat whenever we feel like it and I just keep some for the kids to warm up when they come in if they're not at home. We like to eat late if - as we were yesterday - we're doing some work on the house or in the garden until 9/10pm and then have a few beers and a tasty supper afterwards.
Hey, that means I'm civilised!!! Never been called that before and I really don't think I ever will be again.
