Just enjoying a Cobra beer. I see it`s brewed in the EU. When you have beer in India they put glycerine in it. Why is that - is it some sort of preservative that combats the effect of the heat?
Thanks. Must be a preservative then. I`ve seen the thumb over the bottle trick and it does work. It`s surprising how much of the bottle is depleted when you get the glycerine out.
When travelling around Thailand and drinking too much of the local 'Chang Beer' we often suffered what over there was called 'Changovers' due to the addition of, so we were told, Formaldehyde with Glycerine to the beer.
