Your fav fast food?

Someone asked the other day, 'What was your favourite 'fast food' when you were growing up?'
'We didn't have fast food when I was growing up,' I informed him.
'All the food was slow.'
'C'mon, seriously.. Where did you eat?'
'It was a place called 'home,'' I explained. !
'Mum cooked every day and when Dad got home from work, we sat down together at the dining room table, and if I didn't like what she put on my plate, I was allowed to sit there until I did like it.'

Pineapple is fine too - as life has gone on, I have become much fussier about eggs, particularly fried eggs - it's something about the egg white....

ummmm a friend of mine has a daughter that very rarely eats in and i mean very rarely and when she does its always beans on toast otherwise she always has fast food, kfc, mcd's, burger king, pizza, you name it, so its no wonder that she is overweight! i have yet to see her sit down at the table and eat a "proper" meal

mmm, yep, the egg white isn't the same as it used to be. it's more gelatinous (this isn't going to come across well) even boiling them to make egg mayo is strange.

My catering memories are like jem's - very occasionally, as a real treat, we would have fish and chips - always in newspaper.

I lived next door to a chippy. We sold burgers, hotdogs and pukka pies in the pub. I couldn't live on food like that. I crave veg.

Loved reading all your posts folks, you're a mixed bunch & funny.

My fast food fav of today is a Chinese (Sweet & Sour Prawn Balls with chow mein) we'll have it maybe once a month but its getting very expensive.
