Not true.
Quorn does not have to be cooked for as long as beef, in fact if you do then it goes all mushy and looks awful.
Quorn only neeeds putting in a bolognese or chilli at the end after you have cooked all the other ingredients (onions, peppers etc). It only need to cook for 10 or 15 minutes.
Cooking it in the oven in a bolognese sauce or chilli for a hour or more is totally the wrong thing to do.

I only use quorn mince these days in an attempt to eat more healthily.
Over Christmas when we had family staying I made a huge lasagne with it, and a shepherd pie, both were delicious and the only comments people made were how tasty these were. I didn't tell anyone they were eating quorn.
Give it a go and see what you think. If you don't like it the you've no need to buy it ever again. However you may think its perfectly acceptable, even quite nice ;)
