We did Mcsweens last night, superb, with Famous Grouse!

I had my leftovers cold this morning...while I considered how I could have used them if I were more patient.
I love haggis, I didn't get a chance to eat any yesterday but I'm definitely having some next week.
I didn't like the one from the works canteen but I might give Mcsweens a go. See if I change my mind.

Do tigger...try M&S one...it's moist and quite filling. I had it with roughly mashed root veg.
I was a haggis virgin up until about 8 years ago despite living in Scotland! I now love it, it's not as yucky as you think it will be. I think the problem with it, is you know what it is made of so you can't imagine eating it. I now don't think about it and would have it all the time if it wasn't so fattening! Also try haggis bonbons if you ever get the chance...they are delicious. :)
Haggis Bonbons voddy?! oh, surely not :-(

MacSweens haggis is top notch, alternatively if you have a good butcher, they are succulent, moist tender little beasties.
they used to sell what they called haggis legs at Inverness airport, one person sized critters
Alba, balls of haggis rolled in flour, egg, breadcrumbs and deep-fried....flippin' lovely!
"haggis legs"...holy moly I may go back to never eating it again! :(
Good on you Pasta! I love Haggis and at least you know what's in it. :-)
Is the sun over the yard arm yet?
Did you know that haggis have two long legs and two short legs. This helps them run round the sides of mountains without falling over. Haggis hunters love to pot one of these wee delicacies which can fetch a good price.

Look on the menu at any high class restaurant and you will find Balmoral Chicken. Delicious meal, but spare a though for the poor wee haggis that was sacrificed to bring this to your table.
Maggie. I have one leg longer than the other. When we go to Scotland I'm always the one sent out to bag a Haggis because I can run on the side of mountains too. :-)
Excellent gness, just remember you can only bag them in the right , not when they are breeding.
Duh "right season"
I'll remember that Maggie, little devils are quick though.
A bar in Irvine would always ask if you wanted leg or wing when you ordered Haggis.
Has anyone tried Baxters Haggis Broth Soup?
