How Much Takeaway Do You Eat?

According to this the average person has 12 takeaways a month. That seems like loads to me!

I'd probably have three in one month, tops. I get the odd Indian and the occasional trip to Mcdonalds or KFC if I'm feeling really lazy. Aside from feeling like I've gained 10 stone after each of those meals, I wouldn't be able to afford to do that much more often.

I lived mainly in hotels when I was working in London in the week and commuting back up north for the weekends. The novelty of eating out and getting takeaway every night quickly wore off although the breakfast staff were lovely, always looked out for me, probably being young and alone.

Lol! Yesterday was a one off for the garage sandwich as I did odd hours. Usually they are too rank to even consider.

Once a month we have a massive takeaway pizza and now and then chippy fish and chips !

About once every couple of months.

I used to have a takeaway every Friday but as the boys got older and eat bigger and bigger portions I couldn't justify the expense.

I used to have a takeaway twice a month. Since September I haven't had any.

The occasional butty bar visit about 3 times a year, perhaps a takeaway sandwich 3 times a year. Apart from that we never eat hot take away food, such as fish and chips or burgers etc or even bought in prepared meals.

When my Grandson stops for a sleepover we have fish and chip delivery and that will be tonight. But that is just occasionly.

It must depend on what they count as takeaways.
We probably have one a month, if we're talking, fish 'n' chips, pizza or curry.
And we enjoy every mouthful.

Have just enjoyed a carry-out fish supper for only the second time this month, which probably equates to a norm of 2 or 3 times a month max. No need for many carry outs as I can cook, Chinese, Indian, Italian etc myself AND I know what ingredients go into my meals!!!

Occasionally we will be busy at the lifeboat house and a nice chippy across the way does a discount so we pop across. Otherwise nil.
