I cooked a big chicken with a piece of pork for yesterday's lunch, I've stripped down the chicken and mixed it with gammon ham chunks, sauteed mixed mushrooms and onion and a creamy cheesy sauce. It's made good looking pie, even though I say it myelf, and I shall do buttery new potatoes and asparagus the brood have just come home with from the PYO Farm

Gammon joint with an ale and treacle glaze with buttery sweet potato mash and greens.
Spag bol but with just mince (no mushrooms or anything) and tinned tomatoes and a bit of tomato puree with spaghetti. Made enough for two nights.
bednobs, I don't like beans on toast.
ok ....
My lot love beans on toast (with cheese). Hacks me off sometimes how they will wolf that down but pick at something I have spent ages making.
Kipper kedgeree, low fat creme fraiche in lieu of butter or cream.

well for one, I rarely do three courses. We have lot of house guests and my hubby works for an Irish Businessman who owns a chain of pubs in Dublin, Cork, Birimingham. He also has bars and restaurants in Spain and his sons are just about to open a bar in New York.'Paddy' is forever giving hubby stuff to try. I'm the only one home during the day mostly, usually the brood are with their grandparents as they are at Cambridge university, my daughter works at a small animal vets/sanctuary near here. Sometimes hubby is away overnight like tomorrow, in the morning he'll fly Paddy from BHX to Cork, then back to Dublin, then back to BIrmingham the following morning. My other neighbour, the one I'm Godmother to her daughter she knew who you are talking about much better than I did, I was working full time when she was home most so I didn't get to see her too often
strange how she knew so much about you then i guess.
anyway in answer to your question, we had chicken stir fry
lol sherard - my daughter loves bread and butter and would eat it over the nice mush i cook her :(
Lot of info there - could have stopped after the first sentence.
