I cooked a big chicken with a piece of pork for yesterday's lunch, I've stripped down the chicken and mixed it with gammon ham chunks, sauteed mixed mushrooms and onion and a creamy cheesy sauce. It's made good looking pie, even though I say it myelf, and I shall do buttery new potatoes and asparagus the brood have just come home with from the PYO Farm

Im having rump steaks from an aberdeen angus herd in stirling, they (the cattle) where fed beer and the finest greens and massages daily by virgins from the nearbye villages.
I shall cook these on a very high heat on my outside grill till rare and eat them on the patio overlooking my orchards with a cheeky red from from own vinyards

what's 'all this food' Bednobs? The only processed food my family eat, is best butchers sausages, maybe once or twice a week. I buy fresh meat, lamb, pork, beef chicken from the farmer markets or supermarket we eat loads of fruit, salad and fresh veg, I do use frozen veg, petit pois, Chinese style veg. I cook with ollive oil, Bertolli spread, Clover and butter, but butter just for the flavour, a pack can last three weeks. None of us have a cholesterol level above 3 . I use real cream on puddings too, just not too much. We drink very little and none of us have ever smoked, and we all take regular exercise
