Tangy Dried Fruit

I buy packets of mixed dried fruit to have with my breakfast cereal. Lately, I have noticed a fruit that I am not familiar with, it is about the size of a dried currant, orange in colour and has a very tangy (but not unpleasant) taste. I have looked on the contents list, on the packet, but it is not listed.
Does anyone have an idea as to what fruit it can be?

What a pity the marvelous modern technology still doesn't allow you to post a taste.
Quite simply....it must be a more unusual variety of something that IS listed in the contents.
what is listed in the contents list?
Although they are a bit redder in colour, it sounds like a dried goji berry
what's listed on the packet, denis, so we can cross them out?
There`s also something that is popular in Far Eastern supermarkets which is called Wolfberry. It`s very similar to goji but not exactly the same. They`re exported so it could be that.
Not a dead Ladybird, is it?

I have bought a new packet (a different brand) and they are listed as being Inca berries, which are apparently high in vitamen B12
