New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Rip Off Or Not?

Why has there been a sudden price hike?
£12! That's what they wanted for a large glass at the marstons pump house on bristol's floating harbour. Their Pinot grigio was a reasonable £6.

Wholesale that would work out at around £6 to £7 a bottle, allow 3 large glasses, that would suggest £6 a glass would suggest a profit of around £12. £15 if you bump it up a pound. However £36 for 3 glasses and a nigh on £30 profit from a bottle seems a bit rich, especially if it was on a pump. For that price, I would expect free foie gras or a nice mackerel and horseradish pâté......more preferable with the NZ honey.
