Comfort Food When Poorly
28 Answers
I've not got much of an appetite but just made myself a bowl of chicken soup, bit cliché but hey :)
Also got some Ben & Jerry's Phish Food in the freezer, bit of an impulse buy as don't ever tend to buy ice cream, usually ice lollies for a more guilt free snack attack, but it was calling to me from the freezer cabinet. Am thinking a bit of that for the Great British Bake Off.
What is yours?

I don't usually go for ice cream either. Not that I don't like it, I just don't usually buy it for home. I hope it's nice though at least it was on offer in Tesco so not as expensive as usual.
Those filo prawns and pecan pie sound lovely!

Thank you, hopefully the antibiotics and steroids will kick in soon - a duff immune system and being surrounded by sick colleagues was never going to end well!
That sounds lovely Vodka! Can't beat a lovely soup.
Butcherhog, that is so what I need right now! I handily live right by Manchester's Curry Mile, however, the one time I tried a vindaloo there I ended up with my tongue stuck in a glass of water, much to my ex's amusement (and mine to be fair :)) - in a window seat too! Not tried one since :)
