Frozen Lamb

I intend to make a lamb, leek and vegetable stew today, can I use the stewing lamb still frozen or do I have to wait and let it defrost first ?

If it's in small pieces, you could put it straight in - or zap it in the microwave for half a minute first to defrost it (I would).

You stew it direct from frozen it will defrost and cook all at the same time.
Just mix it all together and put on a low heat till it is defrosted then you can increase the heat slightly.
