Eating Nuts Make You Put On Weight ????

Please settle an argument for me.

Mr Puss hasnt had a biscuit, cake , or anything what he calls fattening, for 2 mths now.
Instead he has taken to munch away on cashew, mixed nuts, walnuts of an evening. He hasnt lost hardly any weight yet

I say these are very fattening --do you agree?

Lol, he keeps weighing himself and wonders why he is not losing any weight.
He doesnt smoke, hardly drink alcohol, and eating is his favourite pastime.
Everything in moderation as they say. Sometimes followed, often not like us all pusskin .

If he's trying to shed some weight,then loads of nuts are not good...just a handful is fine. Full of good,healthy oils which the body needs. Same with too much fruit. Every one thinks its healthy,but its mainly sugar,so should also be consumed in moderation. Dried fruit is far worse as the sugar is more concentrated.

Almonds are the best toe eat. Raw not processed but then it should be a measured amount like 15 nuts for a days ration. Pecans are the most fatty and the nuts shouldn't be roasted and salted. Plain cashews are blah.

he done well last night, he didnt eat any nuts at all !!!
Nothing to do with me, i just told him what all you abers thought.
Well---off to London for a quick walkabout today. Hope the rain holds off.
