My daughter goes to a gardening club at school and has come home with a couple of stalks of rhubarb grown there.

What is the best way to cook it so that:
A. it doesn't make us ill :-)
B. the kids actually enjoy it.

Will do a quick search later on google as well, but would really like a tried and tested method that you know works :-)

TIA x

Allow it to cook in its own time while it rests at the bottom of the bin. Sorry to be negative, but IMO it's filthy stuff.

and we'd get ruddy great needles to pick at them. wouldn't happen nowadays, I doubt.
didn't get them often, till, so they were exotic to us.
mind you, we ate coal most of the time.
To be honest, I only got a pomegranate, very occasionally. We ate coal dust sandwiches too. :-)

Yes, sweety, especially those who live in the Rhubarb Triangle.
