'Coke' is just sugar in water, boil off the water and you are left with the sugar. Keep heating and it will form caramel and then start to burn to Carbon until it resembles the type of 'coke' you burn in a fire place similar to charcoal.

probably a scary story for people who drink boiled Coke, but I drink mine out of the fridge so I'm not worried.

Nor do I get scared by claims that if you leave a tooth in a glass of Coke overnight it will dissolve. I don't bathe my teeth in Coke for hours.

Great for cleaning brasses whilst in the army. Just leave them overnight in a glass of coke and wipe them dry in the morning. Shine like the sun and saved a fortune on Duraglit:-)

I used to drink gallons of coke.

I don't drink it much now since I gave up caffeine (coffee and coke) for lent. If I drink too much of either now I feel sick.

Shock horror. Sweet fizz contains sugar (or sweetener) and if you boil off the water you get the ingredients that flavour the product, left behind (possibly).

Doesn't look yuk to me. Reminds me of black treacle or molasses. But if trying to reduce weight always read the label.
