The pub measures are so different to the ones you pour yourself at home.  How many gins would I get if I used one of the pub optics?

The number 40 springs to mind but I'm not sure why.

I think a meause is 25ml, so in a litre bottle that would be 40.

In a normal size bottle (70cl) there are 32 shots

The standard pub measure for spirits is 25ml, but some pubs use a larger 35ml measure. Its simple arithmetic to workout how measure there are ifs you know the normal spirit bottle is 750ml

I'm not good at sums, but I reckon thirty 25ml measures from a standard bottle.

Prior to pub measures going metric, the measure was 1/6th of a gill and there were 32 measures in a standard bottle.

I am a stocktaker for Marstons, there are 28 x 25ml shots in a standard 70cl Bottle.
I am a stocktaker for Marstons, there are 28 x 25ml shots (Or Singles) when using a UK Optic in a standard 70cl Bottle.
