Nothing has gone wrong with my Quooker in over 3 years, I have one less thing cluttering my work top and I have instant boiling water whenever a I want it.

I was against having one to start with but I am a total convert now.

It looks a bit dangerous to me. I don't think I'd have one if I had a young family in the house.
Bottom shelf for me.

I want a Quooker...
When Mr T hangs the washing out, it looks like one step up from it being thrown over a hedge to dry.
You can't just turn it on like you would an ordinary tap, it has a safety mechanism on it.

Quooker reckon they are safer than boiling kettles (but I expect they would, wouldn't they).

Eccles, do you have a limescale collector in place?
A Quooker has a safety device akin to a medicine bottle, push and twist and it is a fail safe too. Much safer than a kettle IMHO.

Mr Cake and Mr Tilly could be brothers, want to weep when he hangs the washing out :-(

I didn't know I had two long lost brothers.lol
you'd be waiting a long time for this boy to hang yer washing out.
or to get you a quacker. Or to get you a dish washer. You'd soon come down to earth here. lol.
I couls teach you how to do it properly, sweety. It's something you could take pride in. What do you do with your washing? Stick it on the radiator?
I could ^

Or you could do the blumming washing like girls have been doing for 5,000 years or so. I'll go out hunting for us, tilly. x
no, I put it in the tumble-dryer.
Sweety, I have found the perfect house for us. Have you got £300,000 to spare?

I can do my own hunting with my hawk.
Mrs C, we live in a hard water area and had had no problems. As part of the periodic service Mr Cake decided to get the limescale thingy too.

I think he might be going belt and braces with his approach as we'd had no problems.
Bottom first, for the reasons Eccles gave.

I WILL get a Quooker, when I eventually get a new kitchen.
i'll hold you to that when I win the lotto. now pay attention at hawk school, so ours don't fly off(first time, lol)
Thanks Eccles, that's interesting to know. I watched a clip on YouTube, showing how to descale the tank yourself. It looked quite faffy to me, but OH reckons he'll give it a go.
top or bottom, don't care as long as it's not me
