"Christmas" didn't that happen last year as well!!!
Pot Noodle and a bowl of gruel, same as every year.
Don't mean to brag but I will anyway - I'll be having a BBQ, probably steak, having spent the day on a near deserted beach.
whatever i fancy that's in the fridge
We're having the usual - steak, chips and onion rings.

I don't want to spend the whole day cooking turkey that nobody really likes, so we have a really good steak and have more time to play with the kids, eat selection boxes and watch rubbish telly.

What are you having I Love Snow?
I think I'm going to be working in a soup kitchen for the homeless this year so I suppose - soup. I'll probably just have a hot spicy curry made with Bhut Jolokia after that and spend the rest of the evening and following 3 days on the toilet.
Our xmas dinner is free. OH gets £50 in Tesco vouchers and £500 cash (works bonus)...and we go to MILs :-)

(we bring wine and stuff)

Just a stale crust, but to be fair the neighbour allows me to dip it in her gravy. She is so kind.
Eccles are you making the ravioli from scratch? if so can I have the recipe please? or the store you buy it from? Shame on you serving raw rudolph on Xmas day lol!
you dip your crust in your neighbours gravy????
best answer to Blackadder - you made me laugh and I needed that.
Turkey. It wouldn`t be christmas without turkey. I couldn`t imagine eating for eg roast beef. That would just feel like any other day of the year.
Retro, the recipe for the ravioli is not an exact science, roasted squash purée with a couple of spoons of ricotta, spoon of toasted pine nuts, chilli flakes and seasoning.

Rudolph won't be raw I'll have seared him first ;-)
Thanks eccles -or should I say 'cruella deville'. Seriously though -is it nice venison carpaccio? I find venison in a casserole too gamey (tastes like liver to me)
