I made a boiled fruit cake for Christmas and it didn't get eaten, I have brandied it and wrapped it well, my question is , with its moist content will it keep till next Christmas or should I freeze it.

It will probably keep pretty well in an airtight tin - don't wrap it in foil though - the alcohol will corrode it. Having said that, I'd bag and freeze personally.

why don't you just eat it?

Throw it out for the birds. They are glad of anything this weather.

thanks sunny-dave, yes I think I will freeze it, just to be on the safe side.

I wouldn' freeze it personally, too long to keep till next year, feed the birds with it, they'll love it!.....x
