Chicken Kebabs And Rice

Kids have requested chicken kebabs and rice but it sounds 'dry' to me - any ideas of what to serve with it?

What kind of kebabs?

raita or a soy sauce based dip?

I usually have a bottle of sweet chilli sauce on hand.

i have chicken salad kebabs a lot and usually have riata (raita) or garlic mayo...

And what kind of rice?

If I have a kebab it's usually a shish...with lots of salad and thousand island sauce.

Hadn't got as far as what kind of rice or kebabs - probably need to think this through a bit more.

lol, i think i'd be tempted to do the chicken with a soy/garlic marinade and have egg fried rice with it

oh come on naval, the kids have asked for rice and chicken kebabs. What is so wrong with saying "that sounds as though it might be a bit dry what sort of sauce or gravy shall I make with it? If they all want something different then they have to decide which one they will have this time and which one the next.....it ain't rocket science!

Right - their having sticky honey kebobs with salad in pitta breads. They can have the rice (requested by only one child) with meatballs in a tomato sauce.
