I have just made ten jars of jam with fruit that thawed out when my freezer conked out, including some pears (which I mashed) raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, and stewed apples, it looks like its setting ok but I wonder will it keep as well as jam from fresh fruit, especially with the pears in it?

yes it will. provided you have used enough sugar and boiled off enough water it will be the same as jam made from fresh fruit. Its the sugar concentration in jam that preserves it.
I'd keep it in the fridge to be on the safe side. However, as home made jam tastes so much nicer than bought stuff, it will probably get eaten before it's had chance to go off. It would in this house anyway :)

thanks, that's put my mind at rest, it was mostly the pear content that concerned me as is not supposed to freeze well although it looked ok.
