Can you cook frying chips in an oven or what is done to oven chips to make them ovenable?

This coats them in oil which is used to cook them in the oven at home. No nasty mashing and reforming the potato. You can do your own in your garage

Get good quality oven chips and deep fry them in small batches, works every time. McCain Home Fry's work well. Don't use the cheap supermarket chips as there are a lot of small bits in them that get overcooked.Use a temperature of 190 deg to fry them for just a few minutes, they are done when they start to float to the surface of the oil.
