A week or so.
I store them in the fridge.
Fine to use with wrinkly skin.
And if you don't want wrinkly skin you can char grill them and remove the skin.
Happen to have quite a number arriving at the moment, I store them both in the fridge and out, cant say I notice which is best .. I freeeze mine.. https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=freezing+peppers
Once they go a bit wrinkly they loose their crunch .. still okay to add to soup though.

Thanks Alav,
I think it will hold out til tomorrow, when I have my steak, can't wait!
I keep mine in the fridge. I use a lot of peppers, in stir frys, in salads and sauteed with my pork chops.
Wrinkly is fine. Furry is not so good.
