It is nice, Jenny. I always put one square of Bourneville chocolate in my chilli.
it the original south American recipe. They call a stew made with chillies and chocolate a mole

I might add some gravy granules but coffee, that belongs in large mug, in my book.
I prefer pasta shells, their so much easier.

Its Steak & stout pie for me tonight, now beer in food I can handle!
Question Author
That sound lovely, Chip. Are you having chips with it?
I've had a steak and ale pie but never a steak and stout pie, sounds nice though.
Question Author
I bet it has lovely thick, rich gravy. Just right for dipping chips in.
No, Tilly, steak-cut chips are my usual choice but tonight its Cavolo Nero & mash....almost ready now.
Oh oh - Tilly said 'Gravy'.

Question Author
What's up with 'gravy'?
Everything.
Question Author
Why?
I haven't had gravy since I was 3 or 4 years old, Yilly.
Question Author
I'm totally lost now. What is so wrong with gravy?
Jackdaw..."macaroni concigli or fusili is all the same"

I always thought that they came from different plants!! ;-)
It started off as a fad, I have an uncle that is only three and half years older than me. He had this fad at that time of not having gravy on his meals and c'us everything he did I copied I didn't either. His fad only lasted a couple of weeks mine is on going !.
If people turn their nose up at gravy, what do they have on their roast beef? Not "jus" I hope!
I don't have gravy on mine, zebo.
