When vegetarian friends come to stay with us we have to go *** restaurants and eat mediocre food so that they can indulge their fad. Are they being unreasonable?

Mamya, we have a wide range of eateries but not chinese, thai, bangladeshi, Indian, Greek, or any other that offers vegetarian food as well as normal food.
My point is that vegetarians are so by choice, non vegetarians do not need the hassle of going the extra mile because of that choice. Why can't vegetarians compromise just a little, or do their beliefs not allow it?

jomifl don't start twisting my words I mentioned macD and KFC to show even the lowliest of eateries have veggie options I was not suggesting to take anyone out to eat there. Go to any good restaurant and they will have non meat things on their menu and if your 'favourite' restaurant has no veggie options at all then maybe mention to them they are missing out on a growing trend of people wanting to eat less meat. What do you expect of your friends? To decide to get their teeth into a rare Chateau Briand so not to inconvenience you? If it bothers you that much just don't invite them to dine out with you!
I understand that some people have special dietary requirements through no fault of their own and am happy to accommodate those. What I have difficulty with is that if someone decides to be a vegetarian it impacts on me. Since being a vegetarian is optional why shouldn't vegetarians just occasionally compromise just a little...?
