There is a salad with potatoes, eggs and apples - does anyone know what else goes into it, and how its made?

WALDORF SALAD  

1 egg
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. flour
2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 c. chopped apples
1 c. grapes
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped nuts
Dash of salt
no potatoes in this recipe but you could add them(:)

ASDA do a lovely version of Waldorf Salad - really cruncht

Salade Allemande.

This has apples, potatoes,gherkins,herring fillets,onions and chopped parsley. An egg vinaigrette and decorated with beetroot.

Salade Alsacienne.

Same as Allemande but with slices of truffles and walnut instead of herring and gherkin.

Salade Beaucaire.

Julienne of celery,ham,chicory,apples,parsley,chervil, and chopped tarragon on top.Decorate round the sides with potato and beetroot.

Salade Cendrillon.

Julienne of celeriac,truffles,artichoke bottoms,potatoes,apples and asparagus tips.

Salade Olga.

As Cendrillon without asparagus.

A classic Waldorf salad should only have celery,apples,bananas,walnuts and mayonaise in it.
