What can I feed my carnivorous partner to convince him veggy food is actually really versatile and not boring?  I've done Lentil moussaka, veggy lasagna, and haloomi kebabs so far, with varying degrees of success (kebabs went down very well), what next?

Perhaps you could try some tofu?  Especially cooked the Oriental way.  At a Chinese restaurant recently I persuaded a hardened carnivorous friend of mine to try some of my sweet and sour bean curd and he was actually quite impressed by it.

I'm a meat eater who's married to a veggie, and as such eat vegetarian most of the time. I honestly believe that some people are so programmed not to like veggie food that they simply won't allow themselves to, regardless of how nice it actually is.

About the only thing I could suggest is that you did something like a Chilli-non-Carne with quorn mince, tell him you've given in and have done him a meat dish and don't tell him it's veggie until afterwards. Similarly, good veggie sausages can fool most people if they're not told beforehand.

hmm, how about mushrooms?? i used to be vegeterian a couple of years ago and i kept eatin' mushrooms.. i usually cook them like fried chicken, the same process but mushroom instead of chicken.. and um use some fried patatoes and dont forget the soy, hmmm delicious, you may put some corn in it. well this sounds like fast food, just wanted to help..
oh and try noodles.. without chicken, with more mushrooms. i believe that earth was in the shape of a mushroom a million years ago :D
A fave of mine is fajitas.  Use quorn or just veg and make a chilli for the filling. Also use refried beans, peppers, guacamole, cheese and anything else you can find for fillings - totally yum.
You can't go wrong with a good curry!!
Good old fashioned soups (leek and potato, lentil based veg etc) served with lots of crusty bread. Also fry up leeks, peppers, mushrooms etc and stir into fresh pasta with soft cheese.

Chickpea fajitas.Fry onion, garlic and peppers.Add can of tomatoes, some tomato puree, can of chickpeas and loads of fresh coriander.Serve with fajitas, veggie cheese and soured cream.Delicious and ready in about 15 mins.Loved by all who've eaten them.
