3 sachets of Fybogel in water will fill you up and keep you going!!

porridge made with semi skimmed milk, and some chopped banana on top.

Question Author

I used to use Fybogel vicemel, but only if I was having a bit of trouble!

I used to have exactly what you've suggested every morning until recently kick3, but with skimmed milk. I've been very naughty lately though & have just been eating two bananas for breakfast - I love 'em.

i have 2 weetabix or shreeded wheat with skimmed milk and splenda, i have this at 8am and am not hungry again until 12pm.

poached egg on toast or crunchy nut cornflakes and strawberrys. if its cold i like very sticky porridge with honey (you could leave out the honey if you want really low fat) and i have found that the lowest fat porridge is ready brek, i couldn't believe it.

Thank you both boobesque & b13 for those  suggestions. I think it's because I'm just being a lazy eater that I'm asking!

I'll get either the weetabix or crunchy nut cornflakes out tomorrow & force myself to sit & eat - only seeing as I can eat them with cold milk & it's quick! Thanks again all.

Fruit smoothie with some oats/seeds blended in.

Thank you EI D - I've made myself banana milkshakes before with my blender, which are filling, tasty & quick, but I'll give your suggestion a try too - never thought about blending in oats/seeds - good idea.

Why not put a chopped banana or some grapes in beside your weetabix.

Its  Porridge  every time .fills you up and keeps you going(if you know what i mean(:)its also the most healthiest breakfast to eat.(:)chop a banana up and stick it on top with honey Smudge..!(:)

Question Author

Ah, it reminds me of what my dear old Mum used to say "Eat your porridge, it's good for you".

Thank you bigelaine & Vinny - I promise I'll be good tomorrow & eat either my weetabix or porridge with 'nanas again! I have been doing just that for a long time, but have lapsed of late! Mmmm - I won't forget the honey either Vin. ;o}

bigelaine2 - I have a niece named Elaine - could it be you now living in France I wonder?

Go for a mediterranean type breakfast, with olives, tomatoes, poached eggs, feta cheese and freshly baked bread
Question Author
Thank you normyc - a 'med' breakfast (without the olives & feta) would be nice, but I don't know if I could face it first thing in the morning!  Mind you we're in Cyprus for two weeks from next Wed, so no doubt I'll be indulging then! I'll be thinking of you all then.
Question Author

Well this morning, I had Kellogs Special K with sliced banana on top - it's what I used to eat, along with porridge.

That'll set me up for our shopping trip to Hemel Hempstead today.

Thanks all.
