Have some Pork Loin Steaks in the Freezer they have been in the Freezer for at least 10-11 months, should they still be alright to defrost and cook, or have they spent too long in the freezer? Dave.

I'd eat them. Get them out, defrost them and see how they look before deciding whether to cook them, though
I agree. If the freezer hasn't had a problem, look at the steaks, sniff and cook.
Should be no problem!

Over the weekend I defrosted and made a casserole with some Chicken I'd had in the freezer for over a year - it was very nice!
Should be fine. They won't go off...but may suffer with some freezer burn.
I find that pork that's been in the freezer too long develops a "piggy" smell...perfectly safe to eat, but better used in something with a strong or spicy flavour....like curry or chilli.
