Small pack of mince beef, small onion, and pretty much any other veg you want, gravy, cook for half hour, make dumplings, (recipe on side of suet pack) cook in stew and serve with a bit of mash, great meal, not much money!
Or stir fry, so easy and tasty, any veg you want, lots of ginger, and spring inion, bit of soya sauce, add some noodles (optional) and stir fry until required crunchiness and bobs your unckle, can add meat if you want, but cheaper with out, you can also buy stir fry sauces to add, which make a nice change, try it!
hi, pasta salad is a firm tasty favoourite of mine......
1/4 onion, fried off with some sliced mushrooms, 1/4 sliced pepper (orange is nice & sweet), a little grated butternut squash, garlic & halved cherry tomatoes (using frylight / sunflower oil & a touch of worcester sauce) until soft. Mix with 2 ounces cooked pasta, diced cucumber, 1 tbls sweetcorn and a couple of slices of sandwhich ham, cut into strips. Add some salt and pepper, some basil (dried or fresh), a little white wine vinegar & tomato puree. a couple of drops of tabasco sauce is also nice to give it a bit of a kick.
Really tasty, quick and filling, you can also add some cubed cheese, that's also nice...great to take to work as well. Hope you try it & enjoy xx
