Anyone else see that snippet of advice on how to crumble your oxo cubes, in the paper the other day ?.

If not, hears what you do: Just squash the foil wrapper, before opening and voila, tear the foil and sprinkle, and no mess!

I've just tried it and it woks wonderfully!

Can't say I've ever considered crumbling a stock cube to be a problem in search of a solution :-)

We really do not need to know what goes on in your bedroom, Chipchopper.
You use a sharp knife to cut them in half, then peel. And as a bonus you get twice as many triangles !
CUPID just use the bit red strip to tear open the foil and peel it back.

I've always opemed my oxo that way chipchpper,it's hardly breaking news, a little harder now they changed it from cube to a kind of x shape, it's not as crumbly and tips of my fingers no longer as strong

So smaRt of you to pounce on my typo Baldie, you must be proud of yourself.
The thing is, my Oxo cubes come wrapped in foil, not sealed, so no tearing is involved.
I fear a messy end.
I tend to use the stock pots, no crumbling involved.
