My Saturday night meal is usually a "lucky dip" of what ever is on the reduced shelf, in the supermarket.
Tonight its going to be: Chicken shashlik, which I haven't tried before, so here's hoping.
I thought they could have done a bit better than only knocking 60p off though, with something with today's date on!

You'll have to time your 'runs' better Chipchopper. We do 25% reduction the evening before the 'best before/use by' date; then down to 50% at 2pm on the day and the final reduction to 10% of original price at about 7pm (store closes at 9pm). Some times the reduction is pretty grim. If you are trying something new it might be worth the chance.

I get my cat half price roast beef out of Tesco and, even with the reduction, it is still pretty expensive.
It tastes fine in a restaurant, if that's any help.
