Chicken Shashlik

My Saturday night meal is usually a "lucky dip" of what ever is on the reduced shelf, in the supermarket.
Tonight its going to be: Chicken shashlik, which I haven't tried before, so here's hoping.
I thought they could have done a bit better than only knocking 60p off though, with something with today's date on!

Some times the reduction is pretty grim. If you are trying something new it might be worth the chance.

I get my cat half price roast beef out of Tesco and, even with the reduction, it is still pretty expensive.

You'll have to time your 'runs' better Chipchopper. We do 25% reduction the evening before the 'best before/use by' date; then down to 50% at 2pm on the day and the final reduction to 10% of original price at about 7pm (store closes at 9pm).
It is an art practiced to perfection by quite a few people in our store - they are known as the '19p Brigade' when they arrive at 6.59pm and ask 'Is this being reduced any more?'

PS Chicken Shashlik is fine.
