Herb's An Old Crown Loyalist, One Turned...
Crosswords0 min ago
now when i was at school (not that long ago!), they used to have the most amazing rice crispie (or sometimes cornflake) cakes. They were really gooey and rich, but not chocolatey.
The only recipes I can find nowadays are all basically "...melt chocolate, mix in the rice crispies/cornflakes and leave to cool", which makes for hard cakes, not gooey ones! Anyone have a recipe for proper gooey ones?

125g of milk chocolate (needs to be broken up into squares)
90g of butter
2 mars bars (chopped up small)
90g of rice crispies
Melt all the butter, mars bars and the chocolate together then add the rice crispies put a bit of butter in the dish to stop it from sticking, when you have poured it in the dish flattern it with the back of the spoon, leave to cool for 1-2 hours. It is better than school ones, lovely not too hard and not too chewie just right.
