What diverse mixture of food can you put in this wonderful dish.

I've got mash potato from last night plus sprouts, cabbage, leaks and chopped onions.

Also...any secrets, hints or tips on frying it all once it's all mixed up ????

Any cold mash and veg of the green variety.I can't stand swede or carrot in Bubble! I like swede and carrot otherwise. I sometimes fry up those bacon bits you can get already cut up and then bung the rest in...you won't need any other fat.. and season well ..plenty of salt and pepper then crisp it one side flip it over and crisp the other side . Bung a couple of fried eggs on top ...yummy !!
Make it into small patties about 1cm thick. Allow to come to room temp and fry in HOT oil for a couple of minutes each side until browned.
My favourite bubble & squeak of the year is on Boxing Day, when it includes some stuffing - wonderful! Always served with cold turkey, of course ;-)
I sometimes add some Pataks curry paste,makes a change.
