Last Shop

Have done my last food shop now, if we haven't got it we can do without till 3rd of Jan.
A couple of rib eye steaks, some fancy custard, a couple of slabs of nice chocolate, an insulting birthday card for his sister, and a bag of sprouts completed our final shop.
Phew.
When are you doing your last shop?

I will brave the supermarket for the fresh bits and cream etc tomorrow before the schools break up and it turns to one of the rings of hell.

There isn't much to get but I might brave the self service zapper thingy to get me through the till a bit quicker. Although I tried using it last year and was so slow it was laughable!

Anything that has been forgotten will be picked up at the corner Co Op and if they don't have it we'll do without.

The wine rack is full, that is all that matters :-)

Our wine rack is groaning too Eccles, so if it came to it, sprouts, chocolate and wine would see us through.

I shall do my first and last shop on 24 December. I shall be at the supermarket by 6am and in the city by 8. I have a mean stare and a pair of elbows and I absolutely guarantee I shall be in the wine bar by 11.

The wife did ours yesterday...got good dates on everything, so it should last! If we haven't got it now, we will do without. Both freezers and fridges are full...and there is only going to be 3 of us for Xmas lunch!!

Just got to get more booze and some chocolates but might make the chocolates if I get the time.

What does that involve SJ, do you melt chocolate and coat things in it or make your own chocolate in some way?
Glad I'm out of elbow poking range, Barmaid... ;)
There's only me and him for lunch this year adds, we've treated ourselves to anything we fancy without having to think of anyone else for once, outdoors get used to it.

I am doing some on Thursday and what I have forgotten I will get Christmas Eve.
I have got most of my Christmas bits, the only problem is to stop myself eating it all before Christmas!!!!! :-)

OH usually goes to the 24 hour Waitrose for the final bits early Christmas Eve. Still got the main shop to do at Tesco tomorrow.

Thursday, probably about 10.30, after a blood test. Sainsburys so we can use up Nectar points. After that not until 2017!

I had £30 knocked off my bill because of my nectar points today, a nice Christmas present from Sainsbury's, I'd forgotten all about them!
Sharon, I meant making a start on the Christmas food, we've munched our way through all sorts today... ;)
