What's the best way to butter popped popcorn? Sure, I can drizzle it on when I make it at home, but the butter only settles on a few kernels. Any tricks on how to get it evenly spread? Spray bottle? Sprinkler?

I can't answer your q about buttering popped corn, however I make my popcorn using butter (with a little oil in the pan too, to stop the butter burning) and it tastes great. If you want toffee popcorn add brown sugar to the butter in the pan and let it froth for a while before putting in the corn for popping.
