I am the midst of stewing some beef for a beef pie.its been cooking for about half the time, canI switch it off and start again later ?

Thanks. That's why I will do then. We area back now, but can't be bothered to cook anymore.

If you reheat it then it must be used as not fresh
i.e. not reheated or frozen
