Soft Food Help
36 Answers
Due to my op, I can't eat meat or bread for at least six weeks and food has to be quite soft with no firm lumps. I've made myself some sweet potato and coconut milk soup, got mashed potatoes in the freezer and also some cauliflower cheese. Can anyone give me any tasty ideas.

I can't eat over spiced food at the moment as I don't want to anger my stomach, it hurts enough when food drops in as it is. Islay, is the Quorn the same consistency as beef mince as I can't have that yet?
I'm getting a nice little list going, now :)

Thanks, Islay. I'll put it on the shopping list and see how it goes. Maybe I'll make a bit of bolo sauce with it.
Thanks, Pasta and Mally. I was thinking about avocados earlier, I'll give them a try as well as they're very smooth aren't they.
Mally, I can't have meat, even minced.

When you go to buy your Quorn mince, if the supermarket doesn't sell it, be just as happy with their own brand soya mince, just avoid any that are flavoured as that might make them a bit spicy. Another popular make is Granose Its rehydrated and you just add hot water. Instructions on the packet. Mix the soya mince with your cooked tom sauce and use it for spag bol, cottage pie, filling for savoury pancakes. I'd add a little honey to the tom sauce at the moment as it might be a bit sharp for your digestion just now.
