I'm going to make (well that's a stretch as its out of a jar) beef in black bean sauce for myself over the weekend but the jar of sauce is huge and I reckon I won't manage all the beef I bought. Can I make up the whole lot (including a red pepper) and freeze half? I realise I could freeze half the meat but the jar stuff will be 'off' before I fancy it again if I only use half of it.
You can freeze it if you want to. The whole point of Chinese wok cookery is that it is cooked very fast and very fresh and I don't think I would want to eat it if it has been frozen. Its probably do-able though.
