Does anyone know if I can use the slices of butternut squash as a pizza base?
I thought that maybe if I roasted it I could then put the toppings on top?
Thanks for your input x

It goes fairly sploppy when roasted, like any of the pumpkin type stuff does. Here are some other options. https://www.cheatsheet.com/life/6-vegetable-crusts-providing-the-perfect-base-for-healthy-pizzas.html/?a=viewall

Brilliant Chris your answer wasn't there when I started typing - that was exactly what I was looking for.
thank you
I haven't looked at the links, but I know you can use cauli mash as a base, so I see no reason why butternut cannot be used.
You can use butternut squash as a basis for pizza-type toppings but it won't be a pizza by definition.

Only last week, I saw butternut squash "pasta sheets" on sale in the Morrisons chilled section. They were a vivid orange in colour and would no doubt make a different vegetarian lasagne.
What recipe did you go for in the end Islay? I adore butternut squash!

I bought the pre sliced butternut squash and baked it in the oven turning it a couple of times - before putting pizza sauce and topings on top - yes it was still a bit moist but I enjoyed it and managed to eat 2/3 of a slice.
Sounds delicious!
