Macaroni cheese?
Trifle.
A fresh fruit salad? I use orange juice, pink lemonade or ordinary lemonade to stop the fruit going brown.

fresh fruit salad...halved stawbs...red and white grapes ..melon....chilled fruit juice drizzle.. whipped cream or ice cream..having it today !
Jelly with fresh fruit in it...choose fruit that just needs to be washed and stalk removed.... individual in plastic glasses or a big bowl.....easy peasy...help with the hot water of course!
Banana custard
Apple crumble. But frozen apple slices. Crumble is easy.
To add to masterchef's idea : Caramel Angel Delight over sliced bananas.

Fruit kebabs (break sharp ends off sticks) and a pot of yoghurt for dipping.
I'd go for Trifle as well.

Get a packet mix and get the little one to read the instructions.

it's partly homework (although we are going to banrbeque picnic tomorrow) so i like the idea of fruit kebabs - we have to take a pic of it for the homework book
I know the fruit idea isn't much work but she could learn about the different fruits as she goes.
