How bad are meals on wheels?

We’re old, disabled, and getting tired of the daily cooking for which we take turns.

So just how bad are Meals on Wheels? Oh, we’re also vegetarians, just to complicate matters.

You don't have to get your five a day from one meal. I'm sure Bain wouldn't have a problem going to a fruit bowl.

Thanks all. VEGETARIAN is the biggest problem in this regard, not money.

Most M&S/Waitrose type ready meals cater for meat/fish eaters, as indeed do the likes of Wiltshire - inevitable, of course.

I’ll look at your suggestions, though, as some might help.

Fruit is for buying and putting in the fruit bowl; and eventually noticing it's gone wrinkled or brown, and thinking, "Why did I buy that, I'm never yearning for fruit anyway."

Fruit is for first WASHING, as are all so-called pre-washed vegetables. (Pre washed in bleach, mostly!)
There are several companies advertising delivery of vegetarian meals. One here:

Google 'Vegetarian Meals Delivery'.
