Microwave Rice

I sometimes buy microwaveable rice in pouches from the supermarket. One pouch needs only 2 minutes in the microwave to be heated and ready to eat. However, if I want to microwave more than one pouch at a time, by how much do I need to the cooking time?

Thanks, so if I have three pouches to cook, then six minutes? Is that right?

Do 4 mins then check if hot. Obviously if not another minute or two..

I'd expect 6, as microwaves fire in a set amount of energy and if it heats one food item it's not heating another.

Tried 4 mins, but needed only an extra 30 seconds after that. All good! Got to eat now! Thanks for your help!

When I'm doing this I empty the pouches into a large bowl....for three I'd check after four mins......then see how much more it needs....x
