Has anyone found the above that tastes like the 'full fat' version? Those I have tried so far are over sweetened artificially , leave a nasty aftertaste and ruin a perfectly good gin. Suggestions very welcome!

My suggestion is drink the real stuff but less of it. :-)
I like the fevertree low cal one
I love feverfew. Goes great with vodka and gin.
Feverfew is good for headaches, Sharona. :-)
fevertree did a lovely clementine one - I like to drink that on its own

Tilly2 - I could try!
Islay and SharonA - I'll check my budget! But maybe to treat myself....
Have you tried Waitrose own brand?

No hc, I haven't but next time I'm near one I'll get some to try. Thank you.
I've stopped buying low calorie this and that. Sweetners are horrible.

I now buy Schweppes in the little tins. A lovely fresh, fizzy drink each time but not too much of it. Those tins are not very big.
Tilly, those little tins now have sweetener in....at least the ginger ale does
yup, I just checked, the lemonade, tonic and canada dry now all have sweetener in both versions
Aww! Thanks Woof.
Never seen the Clementine one. I would love to try it.
I have just checked my tins of tonic water...yes...sweetners! Grrrr!
oh join the club....you know what really frosts my underwear? At the same time that they have ruined their standard product, they have brought out an expensive upmarket all sugar tonic and a ginger ale in glass bottles.
Sharon sainsbury's did it but if you look on amazon you may find it - it was limited edition but is still floating about in some shops x
Let's face it....the difference in the calorific value between the standard and diet versions is well outweighed by the calorific value of the alcohol. Put another way....if calories-intake is that important to you, you don't drink the alcohol!
^ That's all well and good but if someone is on Weightwatchers, a slimline tonic is 0 points and a regular tonic is 2 points and with an allocation of 23 points per day, that can make a difference (even though it might not in your world)
237sj, have weightwatchers adjusted the points now there is less sugar in the ordinary version?
I have no idea. All I know is that the regular is 2 and the slimline is 0 (apart from Champagne, Cava and the odd beer, I never drink fizzy drinks or any other drinks apart from water and tea TBH)
