What, with all the gardening and all the AB posting...you still find time to eat sandwiches?
^ Don't partake then. There have been many food threads on AB
Not all threads can be wildly scintillating...;-)
Just wait a bit Zacs, it'll be SPAM next ;-)
Sorry. My reply was to the post at 2156
Yeah but how to store corned beef! C’mon.
It got enough interest from folk for well over 24 hours, can't be all bad.
I have a slightly different take on that, Mamya.
My dad always took two tins of corned beef with him on holiday abroad...even though him and my mum always stayed in hotels. Made us smile.
Anything from Prince's is vile. My shopper is under strict instructions never to bring any of their produce into my house.
I only buy corned beef to make hash. I always store the unopened tin in the fridge until I need it. Being cold, makes it easier to slice.
I only use it for corned beef hot pot, or panhaggerty as some call it. Actually, must make one now the weather has turned a bit chilly.
I’ve wrapped the rest in some greese propf paper then some tin foil but i’ve left it as a block. I’ve then put it in tupperwear then the fridge

I hope you were also wearing protective gloves...can;t be too careful with corned beef.
I think that the reason my Mum liked corned beef was because her family used it in WW2. It took her a long time to realise that we don't have eat that stuff in this day and age

Did they enjoy it?
My dad did, don’t think my mum ate it.
I think it was like that for my dad 236sj.
Actually I was wondering if the corned beef enjoyed the holiday.
Who knows...maybe, maybe not.
It was a change of scenery at least.
Probably took them to the Cannery Islands, Mamya.
