Keep it chunky for him and blitz for me!
Blitz the leek keep a few bits of tattie chunkie

Ooh, divided opinions ;)
I separate it. I blitz most of it and then add the rest back in.
I blitz but there is always a bit of tattie that remains chunky.
Always blitzed like all my soups. Carrot and tarragon for us today.
blitz then add some shreds of golden brown fried leek
Always blitzed and then add some slivers of mature stilton and a dribble of double cream :)

I blitzed then added a lump of butter and a good slug of double cream. Like the sound of the Stilton choux.
eth, did you know that you can even add the rind off stilton to soups? It melts sublimely to surrender the wonderful taste, no need to ever waste any part of the cheese :)
