Just been given a huge bowl of plums by a grateful neighbour. I'm too tired to cook them or make crumble and have to work all weekend.

What's the best way to freeze them? De-stone? Whole? Blanch? Normally I wouldn't bother freezing and just do something with them but I shall be working til midnight

Mamya just beat me to it with that link. However I'll go along with it anyway, as freezing the cut plums as individual pieces, before putting them all into a bag, seems sensible to me. Otherwise, if you put them all into the bag before freezing them, they'd probably end up as one big solid mass.

Cheers both. I always open freeze stuff. Just wasn't sure what to do with them first.
